Si, lo he resuelto, por fin.
Bien, es un dilema que se me había metido desde hacía un buen tiempo pero no había pensado demasiado en él. Hasta que leí un blog en el que se presenta el dilema y me hizo muchísimas bolas, y me hizo pensar demasido otra vez.
¿Cómo se le añade tu chispa personal a una figura de origami?
Después de mucho filosofar y decirme que el origami es geometría, que los números non tienen chispa, etc etc, he decidido preguntarle a mi maestro de filosofía si veríamos estética en algín momento. Me ha caído de perlas. Fue la clase siguiente.

I like the concept, yes. The best: concept and ribs.
The ribs look really good, like hairy bones (shudders). That part is detailed and it looks like you invested a decent amount of time on the ribs.
But, the rest isnt as cool (the left part in particular). It looks lazy. The thing about the fire is strange too, maybe it is too red? I doesnt look like a light source.
But all this is technical, it comes with practice. Keep going

yes, that render is fantastic, I like that you included each step. It is a simple model, but with the right materials, illumination, etc, it looks relly intresting (like how we would like cosplay props to look)
I didn't know someone would compliment me like that.It's not that I don't get any compliments from other people,
but cosplayers like you really appreciate my work, the way they compliment me is like I'm in heaven
it gets me motivated to create more 3d anime weapons
(although I only have Ryuko's Scissor Blade and Oigami's Over Rider in DA for now
) so thank you.
